MEET THE TEAM

Executive Director
Brittany Bethel she/her

Brittany has been a part of CCC’s ministry since 2004 and joined the administrative staff in 2012. She began as the Overseas Administrator, allowing her to walk beside churches ready to experience God in another country. She moved into the Executive Director role in 2017. Born and raised in Texas, she graduated with a BA in Music from Columbus State University in Georgia, a MA in Worship Theology from Dallas Baptist University in Texas, and an EdD in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. She is also the Director of Student and Adult Discipleship Ministries at Light of Christ UMC in Charlotte. She and her wife, Taylor, live in Charlotte, NC. She is excited about the opportunities to give churches a big-picture view of what God is doing in their backyard, our urban centers, and worldwide.

Director of Awareness
Laura Brown she/her

Laura grew up in Asheboro, NC, and attended CCC’s home repair ministry each summer. Through being a camper and serving on summer staff, she has experienced the beauty of fellowship and seeing God in one another. She is excited to join in the ministry’s exploration of building relationships and celebrating a love of ice cream.

Director of Access
Haley Kerr

Haley has been involved with CCC since she came as a camper in 2007. She was on home repair staff from 2010-2013 while a student at NC State University. Haley taught middle school English in Union County for 9 years and received her graduate degree from UNC-Charlotte. She continued to help the admin team during her summers with community contacts and neighbor referrals. She, and her husband, Daniel, welcomed their daughter, Piper, into the mix in November 2022.  In her downtime, Haley enjoys taking her dogs to the lake, reading, and assistant directing her previous students in community theatre.
She is very excited for this new role in an organization near and dear to her heart!

Marketing Director
Grace Nolasco

Grace is 24 years old and a proud Honduran. She has been involved with CCC for the past 10 years working with the Honduras Ministry. She has had the opportunity of being in every role, starting as a translator all the way to the camp director. She knows this ministry very well and that's one of the reasons why she loves this role. Being able to look back and know how much CCC has grown in Honduras specifically and how many people we've served, makes her understand how faith, love, and hope have no barriers. She’s witnessed how God is working in and throughout her country and how relationships are built and continue to be cherished despite time. She is so proud of being part of this family and looks forward to making it grow even more!

Director of Connection & Ministry Advancement
Salem Sheridan she/her

Salem had the privilege of attending all three of CCC's ministries as a camper before she was on the home repair staff from 2015-2017. As a staff member, she experienced God's love through her fellow staff members, churches, and neighbors. Salem has an undergraduate degree from UNC Chapel Hill (GO HEELS!) and a M.P.A. from NC State. Before joining the administrative staff she worked as a College Adviser at Eastern Randolph High School. Salem and her husband, McCann, welcomed their daughter Eloise in June of 2023. She enjoys spending time with family, walking their two German Shepherds, and has a deep love for ice cream.

Honduras Administrator
Juan Rodriguez

'Juanfer' was born and raised in Tegucigalpa - the capital of Honduras. He moved to our beloved San Pedro Sula in 2016 and had his first encounter with our ministry through our dear friend Grace Nolasco. He started his journey with us as a Support Staff back in summer of 2022, and then became one of our Camp Directors for the Home Repair program in 2023. Juanfer's love for what CCC represents and does for communities in NC and Honduras has only grown stronger as years pass, and in his experience, it has strengthened his love for people and solidified his call to impact the communities he's a part of. He is immensely grateful to have joined our family, and is excited to be a part of what God holds for Carolina Cross Connection in the future - something he, in his own words: "wouldn't miss for the world."
