The View from Honduras

Time spent in Honduras is indescribable. The sights, smells, and interactions are hard to put to words. God is moving and working in Honduras and being a part of it three summers was an absolute blessing!

One moment that forever sticks in my head was a time where God showed us a glimpse of His vision for Honduras.

We had just had lunch with a very close friend of our Angie, the director and founder of Hogar Esperanza. We had such a connection with her home and kids. Our lunch was spectacular, as she spent an hour encouraging and mentoring us about the ministry in Honduras. It was an incredible conversation full of life and inspiration.

But as we stood there together, on top of mountain overlooking the magnificent beauty of Honduras, we were lost for words. In that moment it was if God was showing us a glimpse of His plans for Honduras. In that moment, we knew God’s heart was so full for His people, which it always is! I was floored to know God allowed me to be a part of that vision in Honduras, not that I was doing anything by being there, but that I was getting to join God’s journey there.

The CCC community has been so blessed to be able to work and serve in Honduras. God has invited CCC to be a part of this magnificent story in Honduras.
