My name is Justis Mitchell and I am from Lexington, NC where I attended Centenary United Methodist Church in downtown Winston-Salem. My parent’s names are Jim and Ceretha Mitchell and I have one brother Chase. Right now, I am a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I am majoring in linguistics/ human development and family studies and minoring in speech and hearing sciences (I know it’s a mouthful). With these degrees I plan on attending an audiology program where I can get my doctorate and practice as a pediatric audiologist. I went to CCC the summer of 2015 and it was truly a life changing experience. I may not be CCC veteran and have gone every single year, but my one experience with this organization was enough to ignite my passion for this ministry. This summer I will be serving as Camp Coordinator in the Home Repair ministries and I am super excited for this opportunity. I can’t wait to get to know my campers and make sure that their week at CCC is just as great if not better than the week I had in 2015. I’m ready to establish personal connections with these campers and get to know who they are and walk along with them throughout their week of camp. Most importantly, I am excited to see what kind of impact these campers will have on me and how my faith can become even more solidified through my experiences this summer
