Carolina Cross Connection is seeking individuals for season employment (summer) who are committed to serving Jesus Christ and helping students and adults become “fishers of people” (Matthew 4:19). Our Home Repair, Urban, and Overseas ministries run throughout the summer and students and adults are given the opportunity to build relationships, serve others, and grow in their relationship with Jesus. As a summer staff member you will be tasked with coordinating in and out of camp activities for the groups you will be leading.

Junior Staff members are those who serve in the kitchen of our camp locations, assisting Camp Cooks, packing lunches, and more. Below is a general list of requirements:

  • You must be active and participate in a local church.
  • You must be able to serve the entire week.
  • You must be 15 years or older.
  • You should be able to arrange your own transportation to and from the camp.
  • We ask that you agree to all work schedules and duties assigned to you, and to acting with good conduct.

Overseas J Staff members are charged with helping the Camp Staff create safe mission experiences in Honduras. Applications are CLOSED for Summer 2020. Please try again next year!


Our Overseas program run throughout the summer and students and adults are given the opportunity to build relationships, serve others, and grow in their relationship with Jesus. As an Overseas J Staff member you will coordinate translators and aid the Camp Director with daily tasks.

We are always looking for a good cook! The variety of activities we do at CCC wouldn’t be possible without good, nourishing food to sustain us along the way. The position is paid (amount determined based on experience). Camp Cooks provide meals for 60-80 campers during the summertime. Below are some requirements:

  • You must be able to work during at least one, if not all of the CCC service weeks.
  • You must be 21 years or older.
  • You must be able to arrange your own transportation to and from our locations.
  • You must agree to the schedules and duties assigned to you, and any expectations outlined in the application.
  • You must have had experience cooking for large groups and using sanitary practices in the kitchen and dining areas.

Before you begin:

  • You must be a Honduran citizen
  • You must be between the ages of 15-24 years old
  • You must be willing to be involved in the entire week (Monday-Monday)
  • This is a volunteer position that reports to the Jr. Staff members. Your role is to be involved in camp for the entire week, and help the people from the States communicate with our friends in the children’s homes. All scheduling conflicts will go through the Jr. Staff member.
  • We will only be taking 6 translators per week. Once your form has been accepted, you will receive more information about camp logistics (ie. What to bring).
