Meet Our New Administrator
Carolina Cross Connection is proud to announce its a newest member of the full-time office staff, Krista Petty! We are so excited to have her on-board as Development Administrator and for the ways that God will use her to spread the Kingdom through CCC.
Krista has a strong passion for service-oriented ministry and equipping others to live out active service in their local communities. She has been involved in many efforts to train, equip, and resource churches about how to become more ”externally focused,” going beyond their four walls to take the love of Jesus into the world. She is an accomplished writer and public speaker, and is excited to use her talents to support and increase CCC’s mission. She is eager to help coordinate not only a powerful summer mission experience, but to equip youth and adult campers to live a lifetime of service and Christian discipleship after they return home from CCC.
In her own words, she is motivated by and attempts to live up to the challenge of Ephesians 2:8-10:
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Krista was born and raised in Colfax, Indiana. She holds a degree in communications from Milligan College, where she met her husband, Steve. The Petty’s currently reside in Concord, NC with their three children.
